Starting off by removing old ceramic tiles (which unfortunately pulled off most of the old plaster) removed bath, basin & skirting board. (just as a tip hold on to the bath if you have any plaster or screed to knock-up, this will come in very handy) More...


Plaster, fix cap tile (cap tile page) and then ceramic tiles (link to tile page) More...


Removed floorboards approximately 35 inches wide by the length of the bathroom which was 5 foot leaving at least 1 and a half inches around the edges, this will make life a lot easier for fixing the new plywood floor. Obviously now's the ideal time for laying pipes and cables. More...


Approximately in the centre of the shower area the McAlpine shower gully is fitted into at least 18mm ply, reinforcing the area where the new basin and pedestal will be fitted, also rounding off the corners. Almost ready for laying the 9mm ply floor. More...
